DevCamp Solutions (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the File Manager: Easy Explorer mobile application (the “App”).
We respect your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App handles, how your files are treated, and why the App asks for storage permission.
In short: the App does not collect any personal information, contains no advertising, and includes no analytics or tracking. Everything happens on your device.
By downloading or using the App, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
1. Information We Collect
We do not collect any personal information.
The App has no user accounts and no sign in. You are never asked for your name, email address, phone number, or any other personal detail. The App contains no advertising networks, no analytics services, and no crash reporting services.
Specifically, we do not collect:
- Usage statistics, crash reports, or diagnostic data
- Your name, email address, phone number, or any contact details
- Your location
- Your device identifiers or advertising identifier
- Your files, file names, file contents, or your activity inside the App
2. Your Files and Storage
File Manager: Easy Explorer needs access to the files and folders on your device so that you can browse and manage your storage.
The App lets you:
- Browse files and folders
- View your images, videos, audio files, documents, downloads and APK files by category
- Search and filter files
- Sort files
- Create folders and organize files
- See file details such as name, size, type and date
- View your recent files and your device storage summary
All of this happens locally on your device. The App does not upload, copy, back up, or transmit your files anywhere. We operate no servers and receive no data from the App.
3. Storage Permission
To provide file management across your whole device, the App requests the Android all files access permission (MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE) on supported Android versions.
This permission is used only to display and manage the files you see inside the App. The App does not read your files for any other purpose.
You can revoke this permission at any time in Settings, then Apps, then File Manager: Easy Explorer, then Permissions. If you revoke it, the App will no longer be able to display or manage your files.
4. Advertising
The App contains no advertisements and no advertising software.
5. Analytics and Crash Reporting
The App contains no analytics or crash reporting services. We receive no information about how you use the App.
6. Sharing of Information
We do not share any information with third parties, because we do not collect any. The App contains no third-party advertising networks, analytics providers, or social media integrations.
7. File Sharing
The App lets you share a file using Android’s own sharing feature. When you choose to share a file, Android hands that file to the application or service you select.
Once a file reaches another application or service, its handling is governed by that application’s privacy policy and terms. We do not control how other applications handle files you choose to share with them.
8. Data Security
Your files stay on your device at all times and are protected by your device’s own security, such as your screen lock and Android’s storage protections. Since nothing is transmitted off the device, there is no transfer of your data over the internet.
9. Data Retention
Because we collect no data, there is nothing for us to retain or delete on our side. Any app preferences are saved locally on your device and are removed automatically when you uninstall the App.
10. Children’s Privacy
The App is intended for general use and is not directed toward children under 13. Since we collect no personal information from any user, we do not knowingly collect information from children.
11. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy if the App changes. For example, if a future version adds advertising or in-app purchases, we will update this policy and revise the “Last Updated” date above before that version is released. We encourage you to review this page from time to time.
